I’M RUNNING BECAUSE
We need better representation
Like you, I am concerned about the big issues that matter and I am frustrated with representation that is stuck on divisions over little issues. These are commitments that I will make to Atherton residents.
FIRE SAFETY: A PRIORITY
I do not support leaving the Menlo Park fire district.
PANDEMIC SUPPORT
We need to help our local schools keep students safe.
READY FOR EMERGENCY
Unfortunately, we must take steps to prepare for disasters.

A few thoughts from Dr. Diana
We face a global pandemic, a deteriorating climate and economic uncertainty. And that is before we get to any local issues. This pandemic has disrupted work and school and limits our normal social contact, forcing us to resort increasingly to virtual interactions. With social media bubbles that exacerberate the divides, we need our local elected officials to know us and represent our needs and best interests and be engaged in building community and working to solve our problems in ways that bring us together.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS
Atherton is a marvelously diverse community but far too few residents feel included in the town government process. I want to change this.
FACTS, DATA & SCIENCE MATTER
Council representatives must be willing to learn about and take the science seriously about the environmental risks and take appropriate action.
WE NEED TO FOCUS ON SERIOUS ISSUES
There are so many critical issues facing our communities, we can’t afford to get mired in silly issues that do that not reflect our priorities.
RESPONSIBLE BUDGETING
A core principal of responsible government is budgeting within our means. The flip side of this is using our available funds to create the community and invest in the future that we want.
